Premetto di essere nato nel 76, quando a Bologna stava accadendo questa rivoluzione, perchè di questo si tratta.
Incuriosito dall'ascolto di musiche "da vita notturna" tramite le cassette di mio cugino verso la fine degli anni 80, cominciai a frequentare fisicamente i locali e a comperare vinili solo dal 1991.
Poi in questi vent' anni ne ho sentite di ogni, concetti, ricordi, parole e parole da parte di tanti dj che sostengono di essere stati i "fondamentali" della scena disco.
Oggi le parole contano veramente poco, in quanto con l'avvento di Internet i file musicali girano attraverso il globo in maniera fino a qualche anno fa non del tutto prevedibile.
Oggi le leggende tramandate solo a livello verbale hanno le gambe corte se non supportate da prove scientifiche o perlomeno da file audio d'epoca originali.
Che a comprare dischi usati e a registrarli oggi son capaci in molti, ma ancora non ho trovato file audio originali degni di nota e precedenti al 1975.
A quel tale che sostiene di aver cominciato la sua carriera di dj nel 1969 gli rispondo che nel 1947 mio nonno aveva due grammofoni e con i vinili del Quartetto Cetra creava mix ed atmosfere spettacolari solo rallentandone i giri.
Per chi frequenta Facebook ecco un pò di aneddoti presenti sul profilo di Miki-Ciak:
" Sono passati 39 anni: .... entro al Ciak nel 74 come programmatore musicale per Mandrillo dovendo fare una selezione adatta al suo metodo che era poi quello di tutti all' epoca, lenti e veloci, ma lui era il migliore a farlo in questa maniera un vero showman, delle migliaia di dischi che mi arrivavano dall' America che tante volte ho spiegato la provenienza, un 70% erano troppo complicati per farli capire alla gente abituata in quel sistema di ballo. Poi nel maggio 75 come già tante volte ho spiegato, causa malattia di Mandrillo dovetti farlo io. Anni prima, io ero batterista e suonando con il gruppo già facevamo 4/5 pezzi senza stop e quindi sapevo già bene cosa volesse dire il mixaggio che poi con decisione senza preamboli e senza guardare in faccia a nessuno decisi di sperimentarlo al Ciak.
Ero sicurissimo che togliendo i "lenti" dal programma e mettere gli altri mixati senza che se ne rendessero conto del perche non si fermassero. Ci sarei riuscito e cosi fu'. BUON 2013".
"Di una cosa sono fiero, dopo aver fatto divertire per tanti anni al Ciak le diverse generazioni quando erano ragazzi ,oggi, anzi da alcuni anni quel ricordo è rifiorito riproponendo dal 2008 le registrazioni dell'epoca di una parte delle migliaia di dischi che ho messo dal 74".
"Come dico spesso, prima o poi faro' questa benedetta unica serata per lasciare un ultimo ricordo personale. Pero'... non faccio e non faro' mai tante serate come vedo fare da tanti.... in posto con 4 gatti..... il motivo? Io ho fatto il dj per divertirmi e i miei ricordi siete voi da giovani e io con 40 anni in meno... io che vedevo voi sbattere la testa contro le colonne.. altri sudati all'inverosimile... altri che non andavano al cesso per non perdere i pezzi da ballare... altri che si sono arrampicati sugli alberi dell' estivo al Ciak per ballare etc etc... oggi questo non sarebbe più possibile con l'eta' avanzata che avete tutti...
Non sarebbe la stessa cosa..."

I state that I was born in 76, when in Bologna was happening this revolution, because this is all about.
Intrigued by listening to music "from night life" through the audio cassettes of my cousin in the late 80's, I began to physically attend the premises and buy vinyl records only since 1991.
Then in these twenty years' I've heard of any concepts, memories, words and words from many DJs who claim to have been the "fundamentals" of the disco scene.
Today, words matter very little, because with the advent of the Internet music, the files runs across the globe in a way a few years ago not entirely predictable.
Today the legends handed down only at the verbal level have short legs if not supported by scientific evidence or at least from audio files of original period.

A fellow who claims to have started his dj career in 1969, to him i can say that in 1947 my grandfather had two gramophones and vinyl with the Quartetto Cetra and he created spectacular atmosphere and mix just slowing down the speed.

"Of one thing I am proud, after having entertained for many years in Ciak different generations when they were boys, now, indeed for some years that memory is proposing flourished from 2008 sound my recordings of some of the thousands of records I placed by 74 ".
"As I often say, sooner or later lighthouse 'this blessed evening only to leave one last personal memory. It would not be the same thing ... "
