Disco che ha fatto storia nella Club Culture.
Ricky Persi ci racconta qui gli aneddoti e le sensazioni provate alla produzione di "Sueno Latino", compreso l'impatto che ha avuto la prima volta in cui è stato suonato dal vivo.
Stiamo parlando di un epoca irripetibile in quanto a creatività, ma soprattutto di un disco che continua ad affascinare oggi come lo faceva ieri... e se cominciassimo a pensare a domani?

"Ciao Manuel...allora tutto nacque nel 1989 alla discoteca Movida di Jesolo dove era venuto a suonare Massimimo Lippoli e a un certo punto della serata mette un disco comprato il giorno prima su un piatto ...Disco Elettronico New age e sull'altro piatto una cassa house per dare il ritmo!

Io e Andrea Gemolotto siamo impazziti a sentire quello che ne usciva e a fine serata abbiamo convinto Massimino Lippoli E Angelino Albanese,allora suo amico e compagno Dj a venire a fare il mix nel nostro studio a Udine, dove avevamo iniziato a fare mix per la nostra nuova Label DFC.

Poi Carolina Damas,allora fidanzata di Johnson dei Righeira (Vamos a la Playa) era una nostra cara amica ...anche lei frequentava il Movida .lei era appena arrivata dal Sudamerica e decidemmo che sarebbe stata l'interprete ideale per il pezzo, per dargli un testo e un sapore latino!

La settimana dopo andammo in studio a preparare il tutto....con molta decisione e le idee ben chiare, fare un pezzo lungo... latino ma con il sample elettronico di E2E4.

Il nostro discografico... mentre stavamo registrando contatto' Manuel Gottsching e prese il primo aereo per Berlino e fargli firmare il contratto per avere la cessione del sample, e fargli firmare parte della musica...ovviamente.

Di sample si incominciava appena a sentire qualcosa,ma eravamo veramente tra i primi a campionare cosi' una parte importante per creare qualcosa di nuovo.

Uscimmo con le prime copie White Label... inizio Estate e Massimino uso' SUENO LATINO... il disco finito... per la prima volta alla inaugurazione del Byblos... tra Misano & Riccione!!!

Locale pieno a palla...fu un trionfo... il disco fu suonato 3 o 4 volte fino alle prime luci dell'alba e capimmo... con i brividi sulla pelle che sarebbe diventato un successo!

Disco per noi diventato di CULTO".

Manuel: "Ah, sempre bello si... l'ho tirato fuori sabato alle Canarie in un dj-set... funziona sempre!"

Ricky:"Tra un po' uscira' un nuovo Sueno Latino... sara' pero' cantato da un ragazzo di colore... Sara' una sorpresa e completamente nuovo.

Manuel: "seee vabbè... per me Sueno è solo con la Damas alla voce!"

Pero' i ventenni di adesso non lo conoscono nemmeno... Fa parte di una epoca magica che non hanno vissuto!"

Manuel: "grazie per il contributo, non vedo l'ora di sentire "Sueno Latino 2.0" e auguri per le tutte altre nuove produzioni, vi vedo molto attivi in questa partnership con la Distribuzione Kompakt FM-Germany. Ciao Ricky"

"Hello Manuel ... then, everything was born in 1989 at Movida nightclub in Jesolo where he came to play Massimimo Lippoli, and at some point in the evening he puts a record bought the day before on turntable ... Then Carolina Damas, then girlfriend of Johnson Righeira (Vamos a la Playa) was a dear friend of ours ... she attended the Movida .she had just arrived from South America and we decided that would be the ideal interpreter for the piece, give him a text and a latin flavor!

The following week we went to the studio to prepare everything .... very decisively and clear ideas, make a long piece, latin ... but with the electronic sample of E2E4.

While the recording goes on, our man for discography call 'Manuel Göttsching and took the first plane to Berlin and get him to sign the contract for the sale of the sample, and get him to sign some of the music ... of course.

Sample's world is just beginning for make hear us something, but we were really among the first to sample so 'an important part to create something new. We went out with the first copies White Label ... start of Summer, and Massimino use 'SUENO LATINO ... the finished record ... for the first time at the inauguration of Byblos ... between Misano & Riccione !!! full for full ... it was a triumph ... the track was played 3 or 4 times until the early morning and we knew ... with chills on the skin would become a success! for us this became a CULT record. "

Manuel: "always nice, yes. ... I took it out last Saturday at the Canary Island in a DJ set ... always works!"
